First I'm really proud to say I managed a 5 picture layout for the May challenge. Using Simple Stories Take a Hike paper and some buttons and ribbon. And I was able to use my new banner die to make the banner. I liked how I was able to use my circle spellbinders die to cut my pictures. This is us on our first camping trip last summer. There were many firsts last year for Gavin and I'm happy I was able to be there to share them with him. He's turning out to be quite the adventure seeker and I love it !! 
The next layout is about a quiet moment that Rose and I were able to take one morning on our camping trip. We really lucked out with the cottage we rented. It had a huge lot and a doc. The kids really liked exploring around the doc and rocks and got to see some ducks up close. And me and Rose were able to take in some beautiful morning sun chatting about my Dad. And Rose was so encouraging and kind trying to keep mr in good spirits. My Dad was recently diagnosed with cancer and we all were shell shocked. So this trip is exactly what I needed. Paper is from the same Simple Stories paper line.
I also used a stencil and sponged some versa mark ink and embossed the stencil pattern. Love mixing different techniques with my Scrapbooking pages.
Another layout I've managed to finish up was another camping layout with Gavin and Hope having a juice break. Again Simple Stories paper (summer 2012 ) live simple stories can u tell ?
I have my June challenge layout already done and cannot wait to share. But will do so in June !!
